There are words that are used in relation to a subject, so if you do not understand them properly, you will not be able to understand them properly. Here are a few words like that.

1. Organic Traffic :

Here, traffic is the number of visitors to the website. Organic traffic refers to visitors who are ranked by search engines like Google. The visitor is the people who come in search.

2. Keyword :

A keyword is any word or phrase that is searched for various purposes in the search engine. Also sometimes referred to as search terms. Ex: best apple mobile phones, SEO tutorial, youtube, how to make a cake

3. Rankings :

Rankings in the search engine. Or the way your website is displayed on Google

4. SERP :

(Search Engine Results Page): The webpage that contains the results related to what you are searching for in the search engine.

5. Impressions :

The number of times your website is displayed in the SERP.

6. Meta Title and Description :

Show the Title and Description in one of the results in the SERP.

7. Organic CTR (Click-through Rate) :

The result displayed in the SERP as a percentage of clicks. For example, if your website is viewed by 100 people in the SERP and 10 of them click and visit the website, your Organic CTR will be 10%.

8. Bounce Rate :

The percentage of visitors to your webpage who turn away from the same page. For example, if 100 people visit the homepage of your website and 50 people turn away from the same web page, your bounce rate is 50%. These devaluations can be described as a good thing.

12. DA (Domain Authority) :

A DA is a metric that predicts how likely a website is to be ranked in a search engine. This was created by Moz. Each site has a value of 0 to 100. 100 is the maximum good level. This does not mean that the search engine will rank the website in return for the increased DA. Quality content and backlinks, trustedness etc. have an effect on increasing DA. PA (Page Authority) is the metric for only one URL.

13. DR (Domain Rating) :

This is another metric that predicts how likely a website will be in the search engine rankings, just like Moz. This was created by Ahrefs. Like Moz himself, every website gets a value from 0 to 100 in this one too. Backlinks are a major factor in increasing DR. UR (URL Rating) is a metric that applies to only one URL.

14. White Hat SEO :

SEO using the ethical SEO tactics used to rank Google. Google prefers White Hat SEO methods.

15. Black Hat SEO :

Although these methods can be used to get quick results, Google does not like them. If you come up with something out of the ordinary, then they have to re-think your website position. The penalty is like a penalty given by Google. It paves the way for a very unfavorable situation. Not so good for the future of the website.

How do search engines work?

How do search engines work?

Search engines are like libraries, finding the book they want in a library. Search engines are a collection of billions of web pages. A search engine always shows the best results that match what you are searching for.

When someone is searching for something, the simple result is that it is positioned in the most appropriate order from the beginning to the end, according to what they are looking for. So the algorithm to use search engines in this process is not exactly what we can say or think. But there are more than 200 ranking factors that a search engine like Google can use to position results like this. Only a small number of these are known by Google as leading ranking factors.

These ranking factors are used to rank themselves. All of this is done automatically by computers or Google bots. So it should be our job to create a website that conforms to these ranking factors.
